One Stop Costa Rica is a company dedicated principally to marketing, sales and public relations services related to real estate sales and rentals as well as relocation services for foreigners in Costa Rica (See more information about One Stop Costa Rica's VIP RELOCATION SERVICE below). The corporation was established on October 30, 2007 under the name Comunicaciones Millennium Limitada.

Jan Kozak, Broker/Owner, has lived in Costa Rica since July 2003. He completed his Masters degree in International Relations at the United Nations University in Ciudad Colon. He holds a BA degree in Political Science from Macalester College in Saint Paul, MN and an IB diploma from the Red Cross Nordic United World College in Norway.

After several brief adventures working both in the non-profit and private sectors, Jan established his company in 2007 with its sole objective to design, launch and implement a comprehensive marketing campaign for Condominio Hacienda El Dorado (www.eldoradocostarica.com), a new 4 hectare residential development in Rio Oro de Santa Ana. To date (February 2009), the development has recorded sales amounting to approx. 65% of the 115 units available.

One Stop Costa Rica has also increasingly become involved in property management, rentals and re-sales at Residencias Los Jardines (www.residenciaslosjardines.com), a small 1 hectare 29-unit residential compound in Pozos de Santa Ana.

Most recently, One Stop Costa Rica has moved ahead to further diversify its activities and now operates as a full-fledged real estate agency and a one-stop-shop for those seeking assistance relocating from anywhere in the world to Costa Rica.

VIP RELOCATION SERVICE

Are you planning on relocating to Costa Rica? Are you tired of having to look for properties on the Internet and contacting dozens of different realtors, scheduling appointments, wondering whether they will ever show up and risking obtaining potentially very disappointing results?

One Stop Costa Rica's VIP Relocation Service offers a unique solution that you should consider.  If you are serious about renting, you have nothing to lose.

The VIP Relocation Service is suitable for those clients that are determined to make the move to Costa Rica and that are ready, able and willing to find themselves a rental home in a relatively short period of time.

One Stop Costa Rica charges a service security deposit of $350 (for rental budgets of up to $1,500) and $500 (for rental budgets above $1,500), which, at the time of signing of a lease contract gets applied towards the lease security deposit. In Costa Rica, the lease security deposit is normally the equivalent of 1 month of rent. Should the client decide not to rent any of the options presented, One Stop Costa Rica retains the service security deposit as a compensation for work, resources and time spent with the client.

HOW IT WORKS & WHAT SERVICES ARE INCLUDED...

Hotel Reservation: One Stop Costa Rica will help identify a hotel in an area requested by the client,  negotiate the rate and coordinate all the necessary paperwork required to complete the hotel reservation.

Property Pre-Selection: One Stop Costa Rica requests that the client fills out a comprehensive questionnaire indicating his or her needs, preferences, budget requirements etc. Once this questionnaire is filled out and submitted, One Stop Costa Rica begins the property search and sends descriptions and photos of available properties to the client. The client then proceeds to pre-select properties he or she wishes to view after arrival to Costa Rica. The client can equally continue to research properties online and submit links to properties he or she has found elsewhere (even on websites of other real estate agencies). One Stop Costa Rica then gets in touch with those third parties and coordinates the appointments and viewings.

Airport Pick-Up: One Stop Costa Rica will meet the client at the airport and provide transportation to his or her hotel. The service security deposit fee is paid to One Stop Costa Rica upon hotel check-in.

Property Showings: One Stop Costa Rica reserves a minimum of one full day of exclusive service provided to the client. Normally, up to 15 properties can be shown in one day. At the end of the day, the client discusses the options viewed with a One Stop Costa Rica representative. Based on the feedback, One Stop Costa Rica can identify other properties to be viewed the following day.

Property Selection & Lease Contract: Normally, at the end of the second day, the client selects a property he or she wishes to rent. One Stop Costa Rica proceeds to complete the negotiation with the property owner and formalizes the lease contract. At this moment, the client is expected to pay the first month of rent plus the security deposit less the service security deposit fee already paid upfront.

Telecommunications: Once the lease contract has been signed and the first month of rent paid, One Stop Costa Rica will assist the client with any paperwork necessary to install cable TV, internet and a phone line at the leased premises as well as provide assistance with obtaining a cellular phone.

Banking & Accounting: One Stop Costa Rica will also assist you in the process of setting up your own company in Costa Rica, registering it with the local authorities, open bank accounts and can even put you in touch with reliable accountants.

Miscellaneous: Other services may include assistance with purchases of vehicles, furniture, interior design services, helping the client familiarize himself or herself with the area and a lot more.
